Quick update guide

The salon got a complete redesign on May 1. The Golden Dandelion is a new 195-Robux treat that gives one pull at three new pets: Peachick, Peahen, and the headline Moonbeam Peacock. The salon manager job is gone, three new soaps replace the old bath flow, and finishing the salon need now grants a temporary neckerchief.

What landed in the Salon Revamp

This update is a content-and-cosmetics drop rather than a meta shift. The salon interior is fully redesigned, three new peacock-family pets enter the game through a single Robux treat, and a new soap system makes the bath need much easier to handle on the go. None of the existing pet trade lanes change.

Why this update matters

The Moonbeam Peacock is the chase pet

The Moonbeam Peacock is the pet most players are chasing this week. At a 2.5% drop rate, the expected number of Golden Dandelion pulls for one is 40, which works out to roughly 7,800 Robux on the expected path. Variance can swing that significantly in either direction. For most players, trading once the early-week premium settles will be the more practical lane than rolling for it directly.

The Peahen is the underrated mid-tier

The Peahen sits at a 10% drop rate, which makes it about ten times more common than the Moonbeam Peacock but still a Legendary on rarity. That tends to settle as a useful trade-up piece rather than a high-floor anchor pet. If you are pulling Golden Dandelions specifically for the Moonbeam Peacock, expect to bank a small stack of Peahens on the way.

The Peachick is the volume pet

Most pulls (87.5%) will land on the Peachick. As an Ultra Rare from a Robux treat, it is the lowest-rarity option of the three but is still likely to hold reasonable trade value once the Golden Dandelion rotates out. Stockpiling a few extras is the cheapest way to lock in some long-term value out of the update.

Salon redesign and removed manager job

The salon interior moved from its bright white-and-pink theme to a calmer earthy palette, and VIP players now have access to private showers inside the salon. The salon manager job has been removed entirely, so anyone who used it as a regular Bucks earner will need to switch to other in-game jobs.

New soap system replaces the old bath flow

Three new soaps were added for the Take a Bath pet need: Travel Soap (8 Bucks, 1 use), Soap Bar (37 Bucks, 5 uses), and Luxury Soap (195 Bucks, 15 uses with a temporary visual effect). The Soap Bar is the clear value pick at about 7.4 Bucks per use. Soaps are usable anywhere on the map, which removes the constant trips back to the salon for bath grinding.

Salon Need now grants temporary neckerchiefs

Completing the salon need now drops one of five temporary neckerchiefs at random: Galaxy, Flower Power, Best Friends, Pawsome, or Lovely. These are session-only cosmetics that disappear when you log out, so they are a fun visual touch rather than a progression reward.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get the Moonbeam Peacock in Adopt Me?
The Moonbeam Peacock is a Legendary pet with a 2.5% chance from the Golden Dandelion treat. The Golden Dandelion costs 195 Robux per pull and is used inside the redesigned salon during the Salon Revamp update window.
What are the Golden Dandelion drop rates?
The official notes confirm Peachick at 87.5% (Ultra Rare), Peahen at 10.0% (Legendary), and Moonbeam Peacock at 2.5% (Legendary). Each Golden Dandelion gives one pull at 195 Robux.
How much Robux do you need for the Moonbeam Peacock on average?
At a 2.5% drop rate the expected number of Golden Dandelion pulls is 40, which works out to about 7,800 Robux on the expected path. Variance can swing that meaningfully in either direction.
Is the Peachick still worth getting if you mostly pull it?
Yes for stocking purposes. Ultra-Rare Robux pets tend to hold reasonable trade value once the source treat is gone, so picking up a few extras during the active update window is the lowest-cost way to set up future trades.
What changed about the salon?
The salon interior moved from white-and-pink to an earthy palette, the salon manager job was removed, and VIP players got exclusive showers. Three new soaps make the bath need usable anywhere on the map, and finishing the salon need grants a temporary neckerchief.
Are the salon neckerchiefs trade-worthy?
No. The Galaxy, Flower Power, Best Friends, Pawsome, and Lovely neckerchiefs are temporary cosmetics that vanish from your inventory at logout. They are session-only rewards.
