Quick update guide

This week is mostly about how the game feels to play. Pets get four new weather-only needs, a Super Age-Up Potion goes on sale for one week, profiles can finally be saved, and a permanent countdown above the bell tells you when the next big change lands. No new tradeable pet shipped this week.

What landed in New Weather Needs

This is a needs-and-systems update rather than a new-pet update. The four new weather-exclusive needs are tied to the standard weather rotation, which changes every Wednesday in Adopt Me, so each need only appears during its matching weather window. Alongside the needs, the official notes confirm a one-week Super Age-Up Potion sale, profile saving, the new countdown bell, and a long list of small quality-of-life upgrades.

Why this update matters

Weather Needs reward seasonal play

Weather changes every Wednesday, which means each new need only appears for roughly a week at a time. The Rain puddle, Fall leaf pile, Desert dive, and Snow snowman needs add a small reason to log in during weathers you might otherwise skip. The official notes flag that the rotation will let you see all four within a normal weather cycle, so this is built around the existing system rather than replacing it.

The Super Age-Up Potion is one week only

The Super Age-Up Potion grants 18,300 XP, which is the full Newborn-to-Full-Grown track for even a Legendary. At 225 Robux it is the most efficient one-shot age-up Adopt Me has shipped. It is tradeable and the notes explicitly say it may return in future updates, so the decision is between using it on a pet you want grown immediately and stockpiling for trade value once the sale ends.

Profile saving and the countdown bell

Two of the bigger quality-of-life upgrades belong to non-pet players. Profiles can now be saved and switched, so trading and roleplay setups stop overwriting each other. A permanent countdown above the bell shows the next Weather change, Update, Admin Abuse, or 2D Tuesday, which makes it much harder to miss event windows.

Untradeable pets can now be Neon

This change is the one most likely to touch the trading market over time. Untradeable pets can now be combined into Neon and Mega Neon, but the result stays Untradeable. The combine flow shows a warning, and locked pets can no longer be made Neon at all without unlocking them first. That last guardrail prevents accidental combines on pets you were saving.

Soaps, stickers, and other small fixes

Soaps from the Salon Revamp are now usable on any pet from the Focus view, even when the pet does not have the dirty ailment. Stickers were re-organized into new categories. Pet Accessory Chests and any other box that contains a pet now announce their openings in chat the same way Eggs and Gifts do, which is a nice touch for streamers and trade chats.

Bug fixes

The official notes confirm fixes for the salon swimming wall issue, the Paint Your Pet guide task, the Peachick double hold animation, the Peahen jump animation, and a Soap Focus view bug that broke when two pets were equipped. Nothing here changes pet values, but it does smooth out the Salon Revamp content from last week.

Frequently asked questions

What are the new weather pet needs in Adopt Me?
Pets want to splash in puddles during Rain, jump into leaf piles during Fall, dive into the sea on the Desert map, and build Snowmen during Snow weather. Weather changes every Wednesday, so each need only shows up during its matching rotation.
What does the Super Age-Up Potion do?
The Super Age-Up Potion grants 18,300 XP to one pet, which is enough to take a Legendary from Newborn to Full Grown in one use. It costs 225 Robux and is on sale for one week. It is tradeable and the official notes mention it may return in future updates.
Is the Super Age-Up Potion worth using on a Legendary?
If you want a Legendary aged immediately and intend to keep it, yes. One potion replaces about 15 normal age-up cycles of need maintenance. For tradeable Legendaries the potion itself can also hold trade value, so banking one for later is also reasonable.
What is the new Adopt Me countdown bell?
A permanent in-game countdown above the bell now shows the time until the next Weather change, Update, Admin Abuse, or 2D Tuesday. Servers do not always update at the exact moment shown, but the countdown is a much clearer indicator than the old guesswork.
Can you make Untradeable pets Neon now?
Yes. Untradeable pets can be combined into Neon and Mega Neon forms after this update. The Neon result stays Untradeable, and the game shows a confirmation warning. Locked pets cannot be made Neon at all unless you unlock them first, which is intended to prevent accidental combines.
Did this update fix the Peachick and Peahen animation bugs?
Yes. The official notes confirm fixes for the Peachick double hold animation and the Peahen jump animation that shipped during the May 1 Salon Revamp.
