Tiers aren't trade prices
Two A-tier pets aren't automatically equal. Use the trade calculator to compare exact values when it matters.
Every pet ranked from S to D based on current trading values. S tier pets are the most valuable and in-demand; D tier pets are common starters. Values are pulled live from The Patch value database — the same data powering the trade calculator.
Pets are sorted into tiers by their current default (Fly Ride) trade value. Click any pet to see its full value breakdown, including Neon and Mega Neon pricing.

Tier lists help you quickly judge whether a trade is balanced — but they're a starting point, not a verdict.

A B-tier pet with elite demand (like Hedgehog or Cow) can punch above its value in practice. High demand means faster trades and more leverage.
Neon pets are worth roughly 3-5x the default, and Mega Neon roughly 6-12x. A B-tier Mega Neon can easily outvalue an A-tier default.
What is the best pet in Adopt Me in 2026?
The Bat Dragon is currently the highest-value pet in Adopt Me, sitting at the top of S tier. The Shadow Dragon, Giraffe, and Frost Dragon are close behind, all firmly in S tier.
How are tier rankings decided?
Tiers are assigned based on current default (Fly Ride) trading values from The Patch value database, cross-referenced against multiple community trackers. S tier = 100+, A tier = 40-99, B tier = 15-39, C tier = 5-14, D tier = below 5.
How often does the tier list update?
The tier list updates whenever the underlying value data is refreshed — typically after major Adopt Me patches (Fridays) or significant market shifts. The "Updated" date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision.
What does D tier mean — are those pets worthless?
D tier pets like the Dragon and Unicorn are starter pets and extremely common, so they have low trade value. They're great for new players and aging into Neons — but experienced traders rarely accept them in multi-pet trades.
Is a Neon S-tier pet worth more than a regular S-tier pet?
Generally yes. A Neon Bat Dragon is worth roughly 2-3x the default Bat Dragon. But a Neon lower-tier pet doesn't automatically beat a regular S-tier pet — use the trade calculator to compare accurately.
